We have developed and continue to develop our professional home cleaning services, on the basis that only excellence is acceptable. We strive to improve our customers lifestyles by removing the stress and burden of their domestic chores.

We know how difficult it can be to find a good cleaning service, believe us, we've been there. Its a minefield of individuals with no insurance or proper training, agency workers who have little or no vetting and companies with a lax approach to your security and protection - thats before we get to mention their cleaning standards!

HomeMaid Staff

We have made every effort to ensure our staff are vetted and checked before commencing training;

We check their Criminal Records Bureau (Police records) are clear and we check their previous employment references as a matter of routine. Its critical you check that regardless of who you hire for cleaning services, that the staff are CRB cleared. We reject 100's of applications each year, where do you think these hopefuls end up? Thats right, with companies and agencies that DONT use CRB checks.

Once cleared and previous employment checks made, we train them for as much as 8 weeks to achieve our ExpertMaid standard of cleaning before they are allowed to clean your home. Every team has a team leader or Head Maid,  who's role it is to supervise the assistant cleaner and ensure our standards are upheld on every clean.

We provide a range of domestic cleaning services to suit almost every need; we can offer you 1-3 times weekly, fortnightly or monthly periodic cleaning. Services such as mattress cleaning and steam cleaning can be booked as required, given reasonable notice.

HomeMaid Insurance

Whilst its a legal requirement for an company to have liability insurance, it isnt for any sole trader or individual who cleans for you. Cleaning agencies are classed under similar rules and must have liability insurance, just ensure that the insurance covers sub0contractors. A cleaning agency has a contract with you but sub-contracts the work to cleaners, who are effectively self-employed, this can invalidate their insurance if its does not cover sub-contractors.

We of course have liability insurance as you might expect, but liability insurance only covers us for accidents and damages. If our staff have an accident and hurt themselves, this insurance prevents them suing you for damages. If we have an accident and break something in your home we're covered for that too; although generally its small items like glasses or the odd ornament, we settle that directly.

Fidelity Bonding

This is an insurance to protect our customers, let say that despite all our checks, an employee for whatever reason does something dishonest, like uses your phone to call their Aunt Sheila in Australia for an hour. This isnt covered on your own home insurance, unless you make special provisions, so you'd want the cleaning company to cover it, wouldnt you? Well we do and a whole host of other things are included to protect you, our customer.
