You should be alarmed to learn that we know of no local cleaning companies that vet their staff via the Criminal Records Bureau (commonly referred to as a CRB check). These checks take time and cost money, so the less scrupulous, simply bypass this and claim that they have "fully vetted" staff, just by checking a couple of employer references.

Once we have properly vetted candidates we then take them through our unique and exclusive domestic cleaning training program, something we call ExpertMaid. This system ensures that staff know how to use our cleaning products effectively and efficiently. This process can take upto 8 weeks, to attain the acceptable HomeMaid standard. However, of the staff that start this course more than HALF fail to make the standard.

Some companies dont bother with training and training standards, to save them time and money!

Domestic Cleaning Insurance

We see companies everywhere claiming "comprehensively insured" when all they have is the legal minimum any company in the UK must have, Liability Insurance and nothing more. Now at this point we'll remind you that most comapnies dont CRB check their staff, so this next revelation is going to come as a shock. Liability insurance only covers, injury and damages! It wont cover you for any acts of dishonesty, such as using your phone, crediut card or identity theft, not even for theft of property. Still like the cheap rate per hour?
