How Our Cleaning Service Works
We are a high quality, specialised domestic cleaning company, servicing customers within the BB post code area. Our uniformed clean teams travel from house to house, in sign written, company provided vehicles, across the Blackburn, Burnley, Clitheroe and surrounding areas.
Our teams consist of a Head Maid and 1 or 2 Assistant Maids. Head Maids can meet other staff for pickup in the morning at a convenient location. If you live further away, you will need to travel to a more convenient spot for pickup.
We are looking for diligent, reliable staff that are able to follow written and verbal instruction, take pride in their work, as well as go the "extra mile" to make that special difference. We train all recruits in our cleaning methods and products so that everyone in the team contributes to the standards of excellence our clients have come to expect.
A Typical Cleaning Day
- 08.30 - 09.00 Travel to Client 1
- 09.00 – 10.00 Client 1 (1 hour)
- 10.00 - 10.15 Travel to Client 2
- 10.15 – 12.00 Client 2 (1 ¾ hours)
- 12.00 – 12.30 Lunch
- 12.30 - 12.45 Travel to Client 3
- 12.45 – 13.45 Client 3 (1 ¼ hours)
- 13.45 - 14.00 Travel to Client 4
- 14.00 – 15.30 Client 4 (1 ½ hours)
- 15.31...head home knowing you have 4 more happy clients!
In this example there is 5.5 hours of paid cleaning time. Travel & break time is not paid. We do pay a daily travel allowance. Rounds are organised to try to keep travel to a minimum wherever possible.
A Rewarding Work Environment
We endeavour to provide a rewarding and satisfying working environment. Its our belief that to get "job satisfaction" you have do that job well. We therefore provide comprehensive training on our products and methods so that you can achieve our customary high standard and that sense of a job well done. Head Maids receive additional training with regard to a small amount of paperwork, quality checking and liaising with clients.
You'll be pleased to hear we reward you in your earnings too, with an hourly attendance bonus, a quality bonus and Head Maids receive an additional supervisor bonus. The bonus increases dependant upon your "ExpertMaid" level attainment and quality scores, so how much extra you get is down to you!
We provide you with p0lo shirts, shoebags and a fleece; you will need 2 pairs of shoes, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor pair. We require that you also provide yourself with a couple of pairs of black full length trousers (although suitable black shorts can be worn in the summer). All the equipment, products etc., are provided for you. A great deal has been invested in the equipment to make things easier and quicker for you.
Head Maids will have a vehicle provided after a qualifying period, so you will need a current, preferably clean (!), UK driving license and somewhere safe to park.
Important Final Word
All Successful applicants are required to provide a CRB disclosure, we will reimburse you (£23) if you complete the four week induction. (Priority interview to those with current CRB certificate)
You must also provide 2 recent employer references or reference from a recognised professional, such as a teacher, doctor etc.
References from neighbours, family members or friends are not acceptable.
