Ironing Service Costs
To make things simple we have worked out average weights based on assorted clothing types. This makes things simpler to work out on your doorstep. We know some business charge by item, but do you want to spend 20 mins listing all your ironing on your doorstep? ....No? ....nor do we! We do however want you to have a pretty firm idea of cost as nobody likes unpleasant surprises.
Fairplay
However it does require a good degree of fairplay on your part, as 5kg of mens shirts are more work than say, a mix of t-shirts and jeans. So "fairplay" is that no bag is more than half shirts or blouses for instance.
The fairplay on coat hangers is that we except you might need a hand on the first batch with hangers, but please try to put them back in with your ironing for subsequent batches. Its a small cost to keep providing them, we just feel its better on the planet if we re-use as much as reasonably possible.
Pricing
Most items will be charged by weight as follows;
Mixed Ironing, per Kilo £4.40
(or £1.20 per lb in old money!)
Certain items will be charged individually e.g.
Adult Jeans £1.20 pr
Duvet Covers, Sheets (dbl/kng) £2.00 ea
Duvet Covers (sgle) £1.50 ea
