Help For Heroes

Who Are "Help For Heroes"?

Help for Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded Servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. The message of the charity is simple: We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better.

Our Donation

This year we decided not to spend money on buying thoughtful Christmas cards and posting them out, to be lost amongst the 10's even 100's of cards you'll receive from friends, family and colleagues.

We didnt want it to be a meaningless waste of money.

Some of our customers are World War II veterans and we know of the sacrifices they made then.

We have family who are in the armed forces and have toured Irag and Afghanistan, who fortunately have returned unscathed, but many have given their lives, whilst others returned with their lives and bodies blown apart.

We just wanted to do somthing that would make a difference and not just be sitting in the recycling bin on Jan 7th. We can do no more than remember those lost, but we can help those that survive. So we have donated this years card & postage budget to Help For Heroes.
