The most common question asked when the HomeMaid phone rings?

"How much an hour is it?"

It's a great question to ask, after all, isn't that all you need to know? By now you will have realised is not quite that simple, you will already have asked about staff vetting, CRB checks before asking for a quote (I hope you read parts one and two carefully!)

You will already understand that well trained staff who are well versed in using "speed cleaning" principles, clean much more effectively than untrained individuals or casual workers.

So now you have the quote what does it mean and how do you realise the value?

There are two ways to price a cleaning service, by the hour or by the "job", even quotes that are for the job have to take account of wages, product costs etc. Its vital you check that everything is included, Agency or Clean fees, Insurance (Liability), Bonding (Enhanced cover). Cleaning Products, Guarantees (if any!).

Work quoted by the hour, is simpler to understand, but you should still ensure that proper insurances are included and that you get a guarantee. Any cleaning company that has faith in its training, staff and products, should be happy to guarantee their work. We at HomeMaid guarantee every clean, every time.

Now you can compare ‘apples with apples', companies or agencies that leave things out to make their quotes appear cheaper are trying to cheat you, so buyers beware.

I have to say that many of HomeMaids' clients come to us for a quote and then compare us to an agency or individual, oblivious to the risks they're taking. They find a cheaper service and select that on the basis of price and for that reason alone. It is just a matter of weeks before we get the call to pay a home visit, because those "cheaper" services are in fact poor value; untrained staff and poor consistency are just some of the reasons given to us.

We almost want you to try other companies before us, just so you can see the "HomeMaid" difference - although please don't endure what one of clients did - having tried SIX companies before coming back to us!

Remember you are probably looking for a cleaner because you don't have enough time to do things already!
